"Great place to stay near the airport. Clean rooms and comfy beds. The restaurant is amazing, the staff is super friendly and this was probably some of the best food we ate in our two weeks in Belize and that is saying a lot because the food is spectacular throughout the country. Great way to end our trip with good food and a morning filled with lovely birds singing and howler monkeys. Highly recommend!"

"Triggerfish was great. We stayed one night transitioning from Caye Caulker to flying home. The pool was wonderful to lounge in on the provided floaties. We were able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast prior to our departure was perfect."

"The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. "

"There was a staff member there that was very rude to us upon checking in and when my family and I wanted to go out and come back in, he refused to move his vehicle for us to park. We cannot park on the side street so we wanted to use the parking lot at that point. I had to contact the manager. We were supposed to be provided breakfast. There was none. I don’t think I would come back here when I’m in the city again."

"The room was beautiful and super clean! We loved the pool and the fact that there was a bar easily accessible right there. Annika, the concierge, was super amazing and always available to help us with booking shuttles and timelines of how early to arrive/what to expect when traveling to other places. "We had to book very last minute after American Airlines messed up our flight back, and they were very accommodating on short notice. It was a great location and distance from the airport. Only stayed one night - the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Some of the facilities are showing their age, but it worked great for what we needed"

Regarding reviews about location, most travelers know Belize City is a jumping off point to get to the islands, one nights stay is sometimes required for connecting flights and water taxi. "There was quite a bit of noise from the construction of the main hotel opposite with a lot of dust blown around. This likely to continue until that part of the hotel is completed in September."

"The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize."

"Looking to get my money back. I planned to stay for 4 days or longer. I was there for half a day and that was because I couldn’t get a taxi to another hotel. I had to pay for another hotel and taxi to get away. The amount of bug activity was ridiculous."
