"Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; hotel in a great location and the room was spacious with a wonderful view, specialist diet/allergies catered for on the varied breakfast menu. Clearly the hotel is being refreshed under new management for 2026. We managed to park each time, but imagine it could be more difficult in high season when things are busier."

"We booked a 2 night stay, with our daughter in order to be at a close friend's funeral service and wake. The hotel is ideally located to appreciate the view across the water, and to watch the comings and goings in the bay. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The public areas and therooms are lovely and clean. Parts of the hotel are ready for being refurbishment (which is about to take place) but it would be a shame if the whole project loses all of the period atmosphere...
