Housel Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is an excellent place to stay. I managed to find the hotel easily by using google maps. I was able to park my car in one of the couple of empty spaces available (however I visited in the end of September, I'm not sure if I would've found a space in peak time, unless there was additional parking capacity I didn't spot). I was greeted by name by a lovely and warm staff member on reception, who took the time to provide a tour of the hotel and where my room was located, along with providing some local hotspot tips and recommendations. The room was lovely and clean and just as the photo showed (but could do with a re-paint). It came with excellent Cornwall tea hot drink options and some very useful complimentary ear buds (which was useful given there was a storm that night, and you can hear the lighthouse, which isn't too far away). The hotel is right on the coastal path with stunning views of the sea and lighthouse, and access to a private bay in low tide. The food in The Terrace restaurant in the evening and for breakfast was truly incredible with excellent service at all times - I would highly recommend eating here at least once! There's a great snug area to make the most of the sea views and enjoy a drink/book/games which was a lovely touch. All staff were incredibly helpful, professional and friendly. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe staying here and would definitely recommend to others."
The Paris Hotel
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely room with sea views from each of our two windows. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a table for an evening meal and this was very good. The location of the hotel was great. You can walk from the hotel on the coastal path to St Keverne (about 2 miles) although this is very challenging. However after we'd walked on this path, we found out there was actually an easier path which we'll walk along next time. We might even get to St Keverne as this time we turned round after about 45 mins."
Polurrian on the Lizard
10/10 Excellent
"Good room. Had a seaside view room. Room was a bit dated but still lovely. Good bathroom. Pillows were too soft for my personal preference. Staff was amazing. Had a good chuckle with a waitress who was there in the evening, and then the morning. Food was delicious. Very tasty. Cocktails and drinks were delicious. Spa was great, very relaxing massage."

"Great room above a lovely pub. Comfortable bed and good shower. The pub had a wide menu and the food was very good. Also a good choice of ales. 5 minute walk to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. Large car park. Friendly and helpful staff."
The Old Post Office
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful BnB, located in a lovely spot. I enjoyed the scones or pastry for breakfast. We had the best room with a great view- felt very special to stay in this old post office. Lovely housekeeper and it was nice chatting to the other guest over breakfast."
Cottage set in 2 acres, next to coast path, short walk to beach, pub & cafe! 😎
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was the perfect place for my partner, our dog, and me. Paula and Paul are fantastic hosts who give you plenty of space to enjoy your stay, while always remaining available to help out and offer local advice. The cream tea on arrival was a very welcome treat, and the cottage itself was spotless, featuring lovely touches that made it feel incredibly homely. It is just a short walk to The Devil’s Frying Pan—which is well worth a wander over with a glass of wine to watch the moon rise.Cadgwith village is less than a quarter-mile walk down a fairly steep footpath, but it is well worth the effort for the fresh fish and authentic insights into local life. We loved the folk singing at the pub, the great food, and the lovely surrounding walks. The location is also perfectly central for visiting other spots around the Lizard Peninsula."
