"The Royal Scot Hotel greatly surpassed my expectations . The check in was fast and efficient, the bike parking was convenient and secure, and the room (we had a standard) was huge, bright and clean. I loved the real cups and glassware provided (as opposed to the cheap disposable plastic/styrofoam) and abundance of big fluffy towels. I appreciated the two large comfortable armchairs for relaxing and I found the bed very comfortable. Best of all the staff was unfailingly cheerful. Overall one of the best managed hotels I have ever stayed at. It will be my go to hotel in Victoria from now on."

"Hotel Zed is very retro, reminiscent of a sixties motel but the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are well appointed and the bathroom up to date and spotless. Ruby's diner is excellent. The front desk was very accommodating. It is great value for money. I would definitely stay there again."
