"Great stay at the Angel. Food was superb as was the service from start of our stay through to departure. Beautiful old pub with lots of quaint features, some older parts of the building and accommodation which could be expected of a cotswold property of this age. Location was superb being right in the centre of Burford but a short distance down a quieter side road. Would recommend to family and friends anytime as a great base for visiting the cotswolds. "

"OVERALL OUR STAY WAS VERY GOOD. SERVICE AND STAFF WERE VERY GOOD. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT THE ROOM THAT WE STAYED IN (CHESTNUT ) WAS DIRECTLY ABOVE THE BAR AREA AND ON A NIGHT WE WERE DISTURBED BY THE NOISE BELOW"

"Breakfast is really good & Included. Rooms need some painting and mould on the bathroom ceiling but they are a lovely size. Mattresses feel a bit old and could benefit from being updated. Staff are helpful and friendly. "
