My only complaint about the rooms is (as other reviewers mention) the walls are super thin, you can hear everything in the hallway and neighboring rooms. Staff were friendly, although not necessarily super-attentive. You might need to track someone down to get what you need the bars/restaurant, but they will get you what you need and...

"I don’t usually give reviews but I was so impressed with the quality of this hotel and the value for money. I love the old world charm of the decor and the cleanliness of the bathroom (no old caulking) and the thoughtfulness of details, It was like staying in someone’s home who has real pride of ownership. Mr Salvatore was even having breakfast at a table beside us. I would go back just for the experience and the enjoy the restaurant. "
