"The staff was great! The property was beautiful. The fine dining was good. But our room could have been better. The blinds were filthy, My bed had something in it that needed brushed off before I laid down. The bathroom had hair on the walls and the molding was brown from lack of cleaning. This is a beautiful historic hotel. And the staff we encountered were great. But the cleaning staff needs to get better."

"Was never able to check in because the front desk was closed and the person working there had left. Had to find another place to stay."

Then they sent me another text asking if there was anything they could do to improve my stay. I repeated my request. No answer. The breakfast area floor was very sticky. The whole time...

"It was not clean and properly sanitized. There was trash in the hallway that stayed there for the day and night. There was NO HOT WATER. Overheard an employee say “oh no not again “."

"Linens weren’t clean when I stayed here, but the room did the job. If you don’t mind a slightly run down situation, this works."
