5/5 - Excellent
You can’t go wrong, very good restaurants, safe, friendly people.

If you're spending some time in Zona Dorada, Playa Bucerías and Art Walk Bucerias are top sights worth seeing.

Rome was so small no place to put clothes or anything. Water in shower hardly works.

The Staff were wonderful. Rooms were very clean and enjoyed our pool. It was warm and clean. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction going on and daytime was noisy, no fault of of the Refugio Hope to go back when the building construction is completed

Quaint local town. Good Mexican shopping - barter! But be ready for cobblestone streets!
The beach is more accessible less local flavor than Puerto Vallarta but close enough to enjoy what both have to offer.
The resort was safe and a nice walking distance from the town. It was easy to get around and I never felt any sense of danger while being there. The beach is long and there are also lots of vendors trying to sell various goods.
Quaint town with lots to offer. A little hidden gem.
We really enjoyed cruising in the local transportation. Also trying food from the old Bucerías.
