"This was an excellent hotel, close to all the main sites. It is very walkable. We loved the decor. The only thing that was a bit difficult were the few steps from the entrance to the check-in counter and the stairs to the elevator which made it hard lifting heavy suitcases. But we would stay here again. Everyone was very helpful."

This is a smaller hotel, 1 block from the beach in Knokke and family run. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They are very accommodating with special requests. "Great location, it’s a 15 min walk to old central Bruges. The room is a little small, but comfortable, although some nicer pillows would be good. Be aware the walk up is steep and narrow, like so many European rooms. The breakfast part is a little pricey but nice, I think if you book it in advance you can save a few$. The parking is close, but it’s a tight fit in the garage for anything small suv size or bigger. Overall a great stay."
