Spotted this little fellow as we were leaving the carpark down at the park in Brooklyn in NSW. He was at eye view and very friendly.
Normally possums (ring tail) are nocturnal. However, I have a feeling that the locals and the visitors have fed this little guy as he was keen to share in the picnic lunch and once spotted by others, they were only to keen to give him some bread. Not something I recommend as it would upset their little tummies.
A native to Australia yet a pest in other countries. :)

"The propriety offers excellent accommodation with its central location. Guests can easily walk to the botanical garden, opera house, the rocks or catch light rail to other destination ie Darling harbour, Haymarket etc. we very much enjoyed our stay."
