"An interesting building, not your usual square box hotel so to speak, nice grounds out front with water feature to sit if you wish. The facility obviously caters to events such as weddings etc in the evening, however they do not go on to late, so no noise problem. Reception has now moved from it's dedicated and full time staffed place, to the bar, which i feel was simply a case to reduce staff required as it seems to no longer be staffed full time. Rooms are varied, and reasonable in size clean and tidy, perhaps in need of modernization, but they are more than functional. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is a fairly wide buffet with numerous options, all in all good. Cost wise, it is competitive and I have stayed a number of times, parking availability is good and has never been a problem. (just ignore sat nav's directions to entering the property and follow the road signs!)"
