"Excellent equipped and clean room, highly recommended"

"Great - clean and not too far in a taxi from Sowerby Bridge (steep incline if walking!)"

"Nice, clean and very large room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good hotel which suited our needs."

"Above a pub - walking up the stairs already made me feel uneasy. Very dusty and a smelly dirty carpet. The room itself would have been fine had it not been for the hair, dirt and used tissues under the bed, the very old very worn and way too soft mattress that makes you feel all the springs and the black bedsheets with holes in them. Not coming back."

"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I wasn’t accommodated. 1. There was nobody there, the whole place was deserted, simply empty. Windows opened, very dirty and dusty. There was only a phone number at the entrance, which stated call this number to check in. 2. "No early bag drop or luggage holding, but it was good."

When I asked to be refunded or have my booking cancelled, they told me it wasn’t something they could do as Hotels.com needed to do. Contacted Hotels.com explaining the situation and they had been unable to make contact with the Hotel initially. And now I’m left out of...

"Not recommending it for family"

"Do not stay here. Very dirty & lots of spiders"

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "
