"We had a superb time in the area and a key part of this was staying at Oxford House. A truly homely and elegant cottage, with everything that is needed. Host Ann was wonderfully helpful and we look forward to coming back! "

"The house is in a prime spot in the city centre, but just enough away from the bustle to be quiet. It's well equipped and furnished. The kitchen is in the basement (cool in the summer). The two bathrooms are nicely done and well-functioning. We appreciated the toiletries and milk provided on arrival! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. Not sure where more than 8 or 9 people would sit in the living room though. We couldn't close one of the old sash windows on the second floor but it...

Amazing hotel, spa and staff

"Amazing stay at the Gainsborough in Bath. Love the complimentary access to the Thermal Bath Spa at the hotel itself and it’s a really nice spa/bath area. Everything was super close by and in walking distance. Great rooms, great staff and really enjoyed our stay"
