"This is a decent Motel. It's less than 10 minutes from the Boardwalk. There isn't much traffic in the general vicinity, meaning it's quiet. Check in was easy, fast and straight forward. They had free wifi and provided the password at check in. The room was clean. The AC worked. There was plenty of hot water. They provided plenty of towels. They had cable TV. The pool was visible from the street but not right next to it, so you could enjoy pool time. My only complaint was the pool could have been cleaned better as there were plenty of winged friends in it. Overall, I would stay here again as it was both comfortable and affordable lodging. "

"We have been staying at Shady Acres for decades. It is still a mom&pop type of operation, if you need service 24/7, look elsewhere. Strictly a family and senior clientele, usually well booked up far in advance. We love it."
