"We stayed here for five nights and found the room compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. A quick tip for those visiting in the spring: the A/C was not yet activated during our stay in late March and early April, as it isn't turned on until the summer months. Also, if you need to iron, there is a dedicated ironing room located on the 5th floor. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. The continental breakfast was phenomenal a perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring. The location is both safe and convenient; being next to a federal building limits traffic primarily to taxis, and some of Rome’s best gelato is right around the corner. It’s also within easy walking distance of most major sites."

"We had a great experience at this hotel. It is up the hill from Trastevere so it helps to be a good walker. We really enjoyed the non tourist neighborhood it is in. Best of both worlds."

"Convenient location, short bus ride to famous sights. Grocery stores nearby. Clean, modern and quirky room design. Just hoped that there were hanging bars/hooks to hang wet towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was included and great but hoped that they switched the hot item every day so you don’t end up eating the same scrambled eggs and bacon every breakfast. Other than that, highly recommend this hotel."

"The representation of the property here at Expedia is different from the reality! No room service, every morning you have to go to a different building that front desk is and pick up your breakfast card, then walk somewhere else for breakfast which they dont open till 7:30am, when traveling to Rome you need to eat early so you can make it to the place you like to visit early so you can be at the front of the line.we had a room in an apartment sharing with 4 other families! When we booked I thought its a regular hotel but its like a pension. "

"Great location close to Trastevere as only took 15-20min to walk to great restaurants and bars. Would stay in this area again. Nice quiet property and we were welcomed by two lovely ladies who even walked us to our room. Hotel was helpful in arranging transportation to and from the hotel. Think we got the last room which I believe was the wheelchair accessible room. Was clean but nothing fancy for sure. Booked for proximity and the free breakfast but we seem to be an inconvenience to all the staff serving us breakfast and coffee. This was surprising as it was the 1st time we felt this on our 10 day trip. Despite the great welcome, location, this is a 3 star compared to all other hotels we’ve stayed out. Would have rated it a 4 star should we have felt more welcomed in the restaurant. Grazie to the front ladies as they were so lovely and want management to know that. "

"How Expedia rated this hotel in the "luxury" category is beyond me. This is at best a 2-star hotel, as it was missing some very basic amenities, such as a coffee make and there was NO air conditioning service (not turned on until summer, I was told). All this besides the fact the hotel is very near a bad area (Termini terminal) and I was told by the staff to not go there when night falls. Expedia needs to do better."
