This B&B is small and quaintly charming, clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. It is on the second floor of a very old stone building containing other businesses and residents, and is located conveniently near the bridge leading to St. Peter's Square. The staff members were very pleasant and helpful. If we get the oppiortunity to return to Rome, we'll stay here.

I really enjoyed the stay at Domus and Liliana was a very amazing hostess and she went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. The beds need upgrades though. Otherwise awesome!

Liliana was amazing
Liliana was amazing! She made us feel so at home and went out of her way to make coffee for us, eggs how we liked and prepared such a great breakfast overall. She even let us store our bags while we walked around after we checked out, before our flight home. 10/10 will be coming back. Amazing service

Domus Giulia is a great choice.
Domus Giulia was a great place to stay. Its location was fantastic. The rooms were clean. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. We would gladly stay at Domus Giulia again when we ever have the opportunity to return to Rome.

We were extremely happy staying here. The breakfast is excellent and abundant. The service provided was outstanding. The ladies available from 7 to 3 each day would go out of their way to ensure you were happy, safe and on time for your tours. I cannot say enough good things. We stayed with another couple and they were equally pleased.

This is such a gem of a B&B!! Check in: Check in was smooth, but you should know this is a b&b w/o 24x7 on site staff. Before our arrival, the hostess texted us detailed check in instructions, which were very easy to follow. She was available via text when we arrived. Communication was over what's app, so if you don't use a smart phone or have what's app you should plan ahead with hotel to ensure your arrival and check in are smooth. Staff/service: Lilly was such a delightful hostess and made our stay so special! She proactively reached out to ensure our check in was smooth and greeted us each morning, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast: Breakfast was lovely and all we needed. Lilly would make us all the coffee and espressos we needed and they were quit good! She'd also prepare fresh made fried eggs. Breakfast (see photos) included espresso/cappuccino and eggs to order, 3 kinds of cereal, 2 juices, milk, bread, biscuits, two kinds of yogurt, butter, Nutella, jam, an assortment of sweets and cakes, cheese, three kinds of ham. Rooms: ample room for 2 ppl. Room was clean. Bathroom was in good condition, shower pressure was was good. Bed was a bit firm but perfectly comfortable. Enough outlets to charge your stuff. Soap and shampoo provided. Only thing I'd recommend is to brighten the rooms with soon new decor/paint. Noise: There is some street noise, but there are sound killing doors for the windows (also serve as black out shades) you can use.

We stayed at Domus Giulia at the end of a Greek island cruise. We spent 2 nights. The hotel was very accomodating. The location is walkable to the Vatican and to the major Roman antiquities. Highly recommended.

We only stayed here one night. We stayed at a different place in Rome earlier but it wasn't available for this night. This place is in a great location near the Piazza Navona. We could walk to a variety of great places including restaurants, wine bars, you name it. We even walked to the Colesseum from here. They also have a very nice breakfast and gave us very personal service and assistance that made check-in a breeze. That said, the room was very spartan. There was nothing to it, though the bathroom was quite nice. But above all, the place is very close to a very busy road. You can't even open the blinds because the traffic is so bad and even with the window shut the noise is pretty bad. So if you are a sound sleeper, no problem. Otherwise, this is a real down side to the location.

We chose Domus Giulia because of its location – Vatican City and other popular venues are an easy walk – and there's nearby mass transit. It easily met those expectations. It's not fancy, but it was clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable. We found lots of dining options in the area. We found the staff to be extraordinarily responsive and accommodating; they went out of their way to help us with transportation to the airport and even delivered early breakfast for us when we left early – before their dining area opened up. The only challenge is that it's located inside a courtyard and doesn't have a typical "hotel" entrance. It took us a bit of time to figure that out initially, but once we knew the game plan, it was great. We'd easily go back.

The staff and breakfast were outstanding! The security (2 doors with code and 1 door with key)-felt very safe. The room was so small with an even small shower (needed a good tile cleaning).
