"It was fine. First floor room forced us to use noisy air conditioner all night because no windows to open for fresh air; only screened back door with no security. But room was large enough, two queen beds, comfortable mattresses, working shower, refrigerator, micrwave oven. Easy walking to town over newly rebuilt historic bridge. Very close to swimming

"Essentially this is a room in a lovely resort on the coast of Maine. Location was excellent, amenities abound and were as described, staff was helpful and professional. But, I would not book again through this listing again. Host did not pay entire rate. I ended up paying 20% more out of pocket and spent too much of my stay trouble-shooting with the hotel receptionists/calling the host support line. Both hotel receptionists I worked with had other customers who experienced the same as me when...

"Hands down - best place to stay in Boothbay Harbor. It's quiet and quaint; right on the water. Love that they had free kayaks for guests to use. Wish we could've stayed longer! "
