"Very noisey -- could hear from the floor above the shower, hot water whistled and refrigerator was noisy. I didnt care for the pillows, very uncomfortable. "

"The location is perfect distance from the harbor, shops, and restaurants. In the room, it was updated with new paint and furniture, but seems haphazardly done and there was still painter’s tape on the baseboard. Overall great cleanliness, though. The bed was AWFUL. Felt like you were sleeping directly on the mattress springs. "

"Check in was fast & friendly. I like that the parking attendant showed us where to park & saved our spots when we ran errands in the car. The lounge was so friendly! Really good coffee in the foyer in the morning. We had a balcony room on the harbor. Shower was hot & good pressure. This is a classic New England motel style hotel. It could use some modernization but then again, maybe not ! ☺️"

"I loved this little motel. It reminded me of traveling with my parents back in the '50s and '60s before the big chain hotels took over. Don't expect luxury.. It's not that kind of a place. Think knotty pine paneling and bathrooms with green tiles. The beds were very very comfortable and it's literally a 2-minute walk into town. One thing to note... Rooms 8 through 11 are on a bit of a hill and could be a problem for somebody with mobility issues so worth a mention."

"Tight room with internet tv - no local channels. Not all rooms overlook the bay, but house has a common area with magnificent view. No breakfast, but kitchen open all hours with fridge for storage. Excellent seafood restaurant across the street"
