"An all-round excellent experience. Check-in was speedy and effortless, and supported by lovely reception lady who was super helpful and friendly throughout stay; Highly professional, helpful staff throughout the hotel; lovely selection at breakfast and beautifully presented cooked food to order; truly lovely food options for evening dinner, served by welcoming staff. Room was similarly finished to the highest standards and super comfortable and clean. Housekeeping staff even nipped in during breakfast first morning and turned everything around and added new supplies, towels, coffee, etc. immaculate! "

"Lovely stay in Y Capel. Check in really easy and parking onsite was fine. Room was absolutely lovely with a really comfy king bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was in the Erskine Arms and was really tasty. A fair few options on the hot menu and a choice of fruit, yogurts and cereal. We also ate in the pub in the evening and was a really nice meal. One thing to note.... The church next door has a bell that chimes every 15 minutes as well as on the hour, all through the night. Our room faced the church and it you are a light sleeper like me it might wake you up in the night. Obviously no fault of the property which was lovely throughout."

"This hotel is excellent, highly recommend 👌 rooms are spacious with everything needed, kettle with tea + coffee plus a coffee machine with pods. Very large super comfy king-size bed, complementary bottles of water on each bedside table, unexpected nice touch of a DAB radio playing low in the room, bathroom fully stocked with soap - shower gel - conditioner and loads of towels. Plus the room has hair dryer, iron and ironing board. This hotel is perfectly located only minutes walk from the castle. All the staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection of both hot cooked food to a fully stocked continental section. A very nice hotel in every aspect, can't fault anything 👍"
