"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. "Cottage has everything you need, however I wouldn't let my dogs or children swim in the lake as it looked disgusting, the promised dog shower has been removed so we couldn't shower our dogs. The cottage is in the middle of a working farm & although we didn't mind listening to the tractors & farm animals it was spoilt a little when one of the dogs was howling next door. "The property is situated in a stunning location , beautifully laid out property. The kitchen has everything you you could possibly need. Communication with Mark was excellent. Our weather was mixed but it didn’t stop us walking, paddle boarding, swimming or sight seeing ."

"Property overall a lovely place and great location to access places in the area. Pub/ restaurant on site and local shop. It states that there is a hot tub, This shouldnt be advertised as there is a hot tub because there isint. This didnt effect us and our stay but some people may look for this as a option and with it stating there is a hot tub, Unfortunately its false advertisement. Overall a good stay and wouldnt put us of staying again but the discrption needs to be changed."

"A beautiful beach is just a 2 min walk away. It is dog friendly, our dog loved it. A fish and chip shop. A couple of shops selling Cornish ice creams. Right next to the coastal path also 5min drive from lost gardens of Heligan. Can’t recommend this place enough. A truly relaxing holiday."

"The house was very small but beautifully appointed. Parking at the top of a hill may cause problems for some but a slightly longer walk was much flatter and we took the car halfway down the hill to unload. All the rooms were decorated with love and both the living room and bedroom were very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely too. The location was great, with pasties, beer and other treats on the doorstep. Highly recommend, so long as you’re okay with stairs."

We went out every day as we had good weather but if we had needed it then the site facilities like the pool looked great. "Nice little bungalow in a quiet area of Polzeath. Furniture was comfortable. Well fenced in garden for the dog to enjoy. Issue with toilet that was speedily fixed. Very steep gravel access road, not for the faint hearted. Overall a good property at a fair price, I would stay again."

"Had a fab stay in bungalow 69 Great location for our holiday plans We went out of school term so it was very quiet too... Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. "Stunning property and gardens, excellent facilities, clean and decorated to an extremely high standard. Everything you could need was provided. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely love to return next year. The 5 star review really doesn't do the property justice. An absolutely beautiful find, if you book to stay here you won't be disappointed."
