"Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered"

"We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon."

"Location is right on the harbor, beautiful views of a small but lovely fishing village. Room was surprisingly big, well decorated with an excellent bathroom. Enjoyed painting of harbor which was an exact match to looking out the window! Mevagissey has very little parking and narrow streets, but parking is provided about 200 yards away so it's an easy walk."

"The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again."

"My wife and I are very experienced self catering renters and have a good basis for comparisons and we can, and have to one another, state that this is one of our top three stays, in terms of quality of the property, location, service, cleanliness and all other aspects of using a vacation rental. Our only regret is that with our present 16 day visit to the U.K. (yes, we are Americans) that we didn't spend more of it in this property in Mevagissey.
