"We checked in late and I think we got put on the fourth floor overlooking the air conditioning units and the room was very dated. The bathroom had hair on the floor and in the tub and the vent about the shower was filled with dirt and dust. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were both empty. It seems like the rooms on the fourth floor are not often utilized because it was not very clean and very dated looking. The front desk was helpful in bringing us items we forgot. The location is good because you can walk right onto Hollywood blvd and all the shops around the hotel are great. Location is good but that was about all."

"The room was overlooking the pool which was just lovely. The pool does get busy on the weekend but it was quiet during the week. The location near Hollywood Boulevard made it a great kickoff point for the places we wanted to visit in LA. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and courteous. I was appreciative of their work on more than one occasion. If I make my way back to LA I would definitely stay here."

"I generally enjoyed my stay, and especially considering the location. Staff was great, the amenities were great.. however - you should know that Sunset Blvd is a very busy thoroughfare and that comes with high levels of noise. Get a higher floor to avoid this. Also, I had an incident in my room where I discovered a water bottle had inadvertently spilled into part of my suitcase. The only possibility was cleaning staff who had put too many things on their cart and it accidentally tipped over - but nobody told me. I found this out myself, which is unfortunate. The front desk gave me a voucher for breakfast as a result; I do appreciate it. I just wish the cleaning staff would be a bit more careful."

"The only gripe I have is that the amenity charge of $37.50 per person per day was not highlighted during my booking process. Also that the Town Car service was restricted to 2 miles distance. We stayed five days and it was only available to us once. We didn’t use the pool or gym room at all during our stay so $375 for one Limo trip annoys us more than a bit."
