I love the old Hollywood vibe of the Sunset Tower. The Tower Bar is always hoppin' and the food and both Tower Bar and The Terrace is great. The staff and service is also top notch.

Couldn't imagine a better place to stay. Room Wass large and comfortable with a great bed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant is to die for and the food is excellent. Next time in L.A. this will be my place to stay.

Overall, the staff were excellent and I enjoyed my stay. Rooms are definitely tired and could use an update. Good location, can walk to conveniences in West Hollywood if needed (grocery, wine stores, nails, food/bars etc). Slightly dark in the hotel also. But again, wonderful/attentive staff. Everything about this hotel was wrong for the minute. We walked in the door. They made a mistake of running my credit card too many times which triggered and activated a fraud alert in which they tried to say that we were either not who we were or stealing from the hotel. The bill was rectified immediately once contacted the bank and they still were aggressive. My girlfriend was even Worried for her safety. By the pool, they didn’t give us trays. Just eat off the ground. Try to get a reservation within the hotel for dinner, but they didn’t reserve tables for anybody who is staying there. They were extremely rude and after we left after only being there for four hours, they said that on the phone they have clientele that “rents by the hour“. And then proceeded to try to charge me for a night that I didn’t even stay there. Stay away from this hotel they are the worst.

We stayed at the Sunset Tower Hotel for my husband’s birthday weekend and we absolutely loved our stay from the very clean room, breathtaking view outside our windows, to the very soft and comfy bed and the friendliness of the front desk staff and valet. We definitely will come back again.
