This works if the streets below the rooms are quiet, otherwise, it will be good for the hotels to put a statement on their webpages to let guests know before hand that some rooms may be noisy when the windows are opened. Guests from overseas may have jet lagged and want to sleep early! Thon Hotel Spectrum is one such hotel and has rooms facing busy streets below which is noisy until 11pm."
