"The room was great - good bed and shower and very quiet with the balcony doors closed. Outstanding location just off Plaza del Sol. Hotel occupies 3rd and 4th floor of a multi tenant building which is kind of unusual and the elevator is 8 square feet (2 people & 2 bags cannot fit into it). No free coffee (€1 and you have to pay with your phone using a QR code) but many coffee options nearby. All in all a good place to stay."

"Check-in was easy because it was all done online beforehand. You must have access to data in order to unlock the main doors and rooms as there are no keypads or keys. Overall, the area was quiet and clean, within easy walking distance to the Prado museum and shopping. "

"Hotel is nice and in good location, but it has a ridiculous policy that no visitors are allowed. That policy should be clearly stated when you are booking a room. I was in town visiting my daughter who lives in Spain, we would come into the room to grab something or use the restroom and they kicked my daughter out every time. Stating that no visitors are allowed, never have I ever stayed at an hotel with that policy. "

"Clean accomodations, comfortable beds, well equipped with small refrigerator, kettle for hot tea / coffee. Air conditioning worked great. Family room was small but a great option for a one night stay in the center of Madrid, with easy access to metro transportation, restaurants, shoppingand historic landmarks. Very helpful, friendly staff."

"Where to start? Whole place smelt of old cigarettes. No toilet paper. Power sockets that don't work. And that's the good stuff about this dump! Unhelpful staff told us to leave our room key in our door for checkout. Only problem with that is that the building entrance was locked and we couldn't get out of the building, after 20 mins of knocking on doors we finally got out. But this resulted in us having to taxi instead of train to catch our bus to Sevilla only to miss it and have to buy 2 more...

"Lovely staff, and great location, however my room was inward facing with limited natural light, The room had extremely thin walls and I could hear EVERYTHING from the neighboring room - which was extremely unpleasant. My room had its own shower and sink, but I had to use a toilet outside the room. Bathrooms always kept clean, and fresh towels provided each day. Would be good if there was air con and access to a microwave/kettle"
