"Property has a great location and fantastic views. A particular feature was the sitting room with large sash window. Inside property a little tired and would have benefited from an extra bathroom given it can sleep 10. We enjoyed our stay."

"Had a fab, peaceful break here. The wood fired hot tub was so quick to warm up and made for a great evening under the stars on a chilly but clear night. Local walks and time to slow down and rest. Just what we needed, thank you "

"Did need a thorough clean as a little grubby, we were warned that some previous guests had contributed to this. I think 66 steps to reach the property needs to be clearer and path lighting at night is poor.The parking for a large 4x4 is not possible near the house. Views were spectacular and the aspect is lovely, but a little tired. "

"The property was lovely - clean and spacious. Very nicely maintained with some fun wall decor throughout the house. Access was a little challenging up a spiral staircase although this was clearly stated at booking. Due to this, not advisable for elderly/frail people."

"We loved staying at Coombe Down. A master class in interior design and functionality, it has all the mod-cons and is really well thought through. Only slight downside is it is located on a main road so one of the double rooms and the single can be a little noisy with the windows open but we soon adjusted. All other bedrooms were quiet enough that you could really only hear the sheep baaing. The views from the patio are breathtaking and the location is good if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk into...
