Ponderosa Cabin ~ rustic comfort + WiFi by Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful—a perfect place to get away from distractions and truly relax. We stayed for four days while exploring Kings Canyon, which was about 30 minutes away, and Sequoia National Park, about an hour away. The location was perfect for exploring both parks while still having a peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day. The host was wonderful with communication and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. She also called before our booked dates to go over instructions and recommendations. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We would love to stay here again!"

"Such a cute and rustic little cabin! Perfect for lovers of unique spaces and history. It has a lot of little quirks that a modern home doesn't, but I loved staying here and experiencing them all. The back deck was lovely too. It's a perfect for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and a few doors down from a great new market where you can get groceries, gifts, maps, etc."
John Muir Lodge

"Great spot for visiting national parks. No A/C but it didn’t matter."

"This house is huge and had everything we needed. Great location for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. It was so quiet and relaxing sitting on the porch watching deer, turkey and quail and beautiful sunrises."
Stony Creek Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The lodge was lovely with a free delicious breakfast just as we needed before hiking in the park. The lodge has a small shop and gas station as well to meet your needs. Just a heads up, if you plan to eat dinner here, better get back by 6 pm because the dining room closes early (unsure of exact hours, weren't posted)."
Sequoia Resort

"Two thumbs up and 5 stars! This house is one of the closest to the entrance to both Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Perfect spot to stay for visiting both Parks.Hosts were friendly, helpful and responded to inquiries promptly.Besides the National Parks, the 10 acre property is a destination by itself. We had fun walking through the apple orchard and down to the pond. There is a friendly goat on the premises (highlight for the kids). As described, we witnessed one of the best sunsets I've ever seen in my life, and the stargazing was phenomenal. Saw quite a few satellites. The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook, but is also walking distance to the Pinehurst Lodge; (pretty much the only restaurant/bar in the area without quite a drive).Hosts said they can cater to large groups, and we can return with extended family. Bring your tents and overflow onto the 10 acres. We will be returning in the future.Too much stuff to fit in a review. Great place. Check it out."
