"We enjoyed the main cook Tod personality. He made our stay memorable. I have a medicine that needs to be refrigerated and I had to ask for ice instead of an ice maker that I can get to right away. Refrigerator would have been better in the room. Breakfast starts at 8am which is too late to start enjoying Sequoia National Park. Dinner ends at 7pm and 6:30pm on Sunday which is early when you’re still outdoors exploring the park."

"Beautiful view of the lake. Daily walks during spring season was perfect. Flowers bursting everywhere Very quiet and remote. Extremely spacious. Perfect for multi-families. There is some sort of system that cools the air a bit, but does nothing about humidity. We stayed during a heat dome event and it was uncomfortable. "This turned out to be very nice. We didn’t not realize the bathroom was a pit toilet and there is no electric on the property. All this being said we really did like it. We slept well, the outdoor shower was awesome. Spent a lot less time on getting ready. A plus when you are going hiking anyway. The pit toilet is a pit toilet. All in all we enjoyed our stay."
