"Very relaxing stay. Fun to here foghorn go off every 2 minutes when the Lake Superior was covered with fog. Then the sun comes out and shines on the lake making diamonds on the water. Sunsets were beautiful. The house had everything we needed to have a great time. The flowers in the gardens were so pretty. Seeing majestic eagles flying over every morning. "

The house actually had more supplies than we expected, including some things that came in handy atving around the mountain like the walky talkies.The bed we slept in was very comfortable and cozy. Although there is no ac, it was not needed as the ceiling fans, and the area temps made for a nice cool sleep.The area feels both secluded and accessible. We recommend grabbing a pasty at the gas station.The house was clean, comfortable and inviting and we appreciated being able to retreat to a cozy place at night after a day of exploring."

"I loved it. The cabin is luxurious and surrounded by acres and acres of unspoiled forest with an excellent view of Lake Superior. Astonishingly quiet. Lots of freighters sailing by to watch or count. I hope to return someday soon."

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin in the woods for three nights over the 4th of July holiday. It was perfect for our two families that included two teens and three pre-teen kids. We were able to explore the Keweenaw easily and even did a day trip over to Isle Royale. Our boys spent as much time possible fishing off the dock while the girls enjoyed the short walk to the beach everyday. The house was very well stocked and very clean. Carla was friendly and super accommodating for us when we needed an unexpected date change. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to return one day! "
