"This place is truly amazing; beautiful, quirky, quiet and old in the best possible way. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room was reasonably warm despite -20 C outside. I could even bring my dog! I’m coming back for sure!"

"We had a very brief 2 night stay at Hellefors Herrgard in Oct 22. A short walk from the main bus station and local amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. A beautiful friendly hotel and a lovely town. Thanks to all for making our stay comfortable and pleasant throughout. "

"We had an ok one-night stay, although we didn’t really get to see the manor house. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Cozy julbord / Christmas buffet, although only water was included in the price. Breakfast could be better - only cold cuts, bread, cereals and yogurt. I missed some warm dishes like eggs and maybe bacon. Otherwise, it’s an ok stay. "

"For what it is, this is a nice characterful country home stay with strangers. However, it is not what I expected from the description on Expedia. Firstly, from a British perspective, this is not a ‘bed and breakfast’ but a hostel. The booking only includes bed, there is no personal welcome but a text message with access code for the electronic door, and other guests hadn’t received theirs so had to wait a long time for acvess. "På alla vis en bra vistelse om är förtjust i bra ljud från trafik kombinerat med vackert utsikt mot sjön. Udda kombo, ja, men intressant. Frukosten är en papperspåse i kylen med en minijuice, wasaknäckemacka i förpackning, ett äpple osv. Undermåligt. Kom ihåg, 1000 kr, för ett mycket fräscht rum.
