"Our family loves the beach and water. We had enjpyed many years of spending our vacations on the NC coast. This year we wanted to see something new. Culebra has beautiful beaches. This little house is very close to the Ferry-3 min walk! We rented a Jeep per Will’s suggestion. Ate at Mamacitas-highly recommend. Would recommend this little island and the house. The back porch has a beautiful view. Perfect place for morning yoga or pilates! My girls enjoyed the hammock for reading."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was spacious and well-equipped, and the large deck provided a lovely space to enjoy meals, view the bay, and feel the island breeze. The manager, Didi, was available onsite and she was very helpful without being at all intrusive. The location was ideal, walkable to town and a short drive to the beaches. We would definitely return. "This place is AHHHmazing! The view is beautiful, the covered porch with glass sides is so perfect, it really could not get any better. The house is up a fun steep hill, and secluded from any other homes. The doors and windows open wide to let the fresh constant breeze in, and most of the windows have screens for the evening time. The kitchen is well stocked with many high quality items you need to enjoy cooking. There are plenty of linens and fresh full pillows, the bed is comfy, and the pull out couch is a good pull out couch. The washer dryer was excellent. Everything at this home is very nice quality and clean. The AC in the bedroom doesn’t get very cool, so it can be a bit warm at night, both in the bedroom and living room, but comfortable with the provided fans. The single door at the back of the house (not on the porch) is missing a screen, We covered it with paper bags to keep the mosquitos out. The host was very nice and responsive once we got in touch. We did have trouble contacting him the day of check in when we never received the check in info. I got a bit worried when we had already arrived in Culebra and had to contact VRBO. I guess there was an issue with the vrbo messaging or something, sounds like it was not the fault of the host. Once connected, he was very kind and helpful. Thanks William! Culebra is a very special place. We loved it with our two 6 year olds! Hike out on the point (east side of it) that you can see from the porch. :) so fun!"

"We did a 6 day stay on Culebra and love the Melones area for the views and calm water. We stayed at Villa 2. The room is very elegant with a clean and comfy feel. The villa came with free wifi, direct TV, and access to Netflix (your account). AC worked fabulously at 72 degrees. The view is breathtaking and the balcony comes with an awning/sun shade that was perfect for noon lunches. Sunsets are perfect (just have Off on hand for the mosquitoes). The pool was a nice addition. Breakfast (yogurt, mango juice, prepackaged muffins) were included every morning and brought to the villa. Dinner is available for a price. We did Mussels and bread with Hummus and were not disappointed. Cost was about the same as any restaurant on the island. A jeep is necessary because of the steep hill but the view makes the extra cost worth it. Our hosts were kind and attentive. We would/will stay here again. Thank you!"
