"It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia. "

Second-the bathtub wall is very high and getting in for a shower or bath will be difficult for some. The breakfast is excellent; the staff very nice and beautiful room and if you have difficulty -that is a problem "
