"We had a comfortable overnight stay in Belo Horizonte, thanks to São Bento Hotel. It is situated within walking distance to the bus terminal, and both the old and new markets. The hotel has several security cameras. The room, while on the smaller side, is neat and tidy. It has a closet with safety deposit box and enough surfaces to put things on. "Liked the roof top resturant, view and general cleanliness. Also liked the breakfast menu and general hospitality team Did not like the bath tubs- they are old and stained. Should change to shower cubicles as they are more hygenic and easier to keep clean. The linen and towels were a bit faded though."

"Needs serious updates, rooms outdated, mattress you can feel the springs, A/C very noise, bathroom does not flush properly, even though I asked for them to send a repairman, they never send it. Have to fill the waste-basket with water to help flush the toilet. VERY NOISE STREET."

"The Hotel is dated. I mean dated. Good enough for short stays if you don't mind the promised wifi not working in the rooms and having to go to lobby to work. The elevator system is real old-school and requires an operator to operate old machinery handle to manually stop elevator when your floor is reached. also the photos mislead you to expect tubs in bathroom.
