"The Ambassador was a great boutique hotel in the Gold Coast. The area is quiet, well maintained, and seemingly safe. A few blocks over you can find bars and restaurants and of course Lake Michigan. The hotel.com rate included additional amenities (drink and breakfast vouchers) which I highly recommend. The food is solid but if you're visiting Chicago don't be afraid to venture out and go to a real restaurant. Still, a solid choice if you don't want to go far. Rh hotel maintains its historic charm and thoughtfully integrated updates. The only con is the towels left cotton residue on your skin. I'd never experienced that before lol. Another plus, the tv had regular cable and cast from your phone options. The room felt very spacious and bright."
