"My family needed a place we could stay together for a wedding at Whaleback so we took a chance on this house in Goshen just a short ride away. We're all very glad we did. The house is charming and adorable with a great vibe to it. Close to Newport which has some great shops and restaurants. Beds are super comfortable and the house has everything you could possibly need. Impeccably clean and loaded with country charm. Hosts were great and very responsive. "Property is what it is advertised-old farmhouse on a great piece of land. If you are looking for new this is not the place but if you want character, this is it. The house has plenty of bedrooms and a nice large dining room table. Outside is the real gem. The patio with the grill and ponds nearby is the place to hang out all day. "The house and property is beautiful. There is plenty of space for everyone and is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, and bedding. The house is nicely situated where it is in walking distance to town which is very nice. We also discovered a path through the park across the street where you can get down to the williams middle branch river and we were able to walk up a bit with our dog. "We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. "We went up to this area to do some skiing at Mount Sunapee. This cottage is close to the mountain, We wanted a dog friendly listing. This was perfect for our 3 labs and their crates and 3 adults. The mud room entrance is awesome for keeping the cottage clean and storing ski/snowboard boots. The cottage is beautifully decorated (like out of a magazine) and seems “like-new”.
