We did not dine in but had a drink in the bar where the very attentive maitre d boosted the air con when he saw me fanning myself . Location was superb too; less than 5 minutes walk from the tube "

"Good area, right beside the Aldgate station. Lots of eating places just across the street and around. Tesco mart is about 5 minutes walk away. A plus is the sky bar at the rooftop. "

"The property was in easy walking distance of buses and the tube. Plenty of places around to get food. Basic room in a lovely old property. Reception staff were all lovely and helpful."
