"I stayed in the private apartment (thought was on sight) But it is down the street from the hostel. The apartment is basic and no shampoo or anything like that. Two towels and no dish towels. Apartment was kind of run down but the price is what you get. Bed was not that comfortable and no ac; just a fan. Area was close to the plaza and the lucia hill (5-10 minute walk) nice views from 22nd floor but stayed for 3 nights in Santiago and least favorite city so far; graffiti everywhere after the...

"Near subway. Comfy bed. Lots of dinning options close by. Decent kitchen but there were no forks and knives, though there was a kitchen knife. The veranda door didn’t close properly and there was a large gap, letting in cold air. It got into the low 30s at night. Maintanance fixed it up but I wish I didn’t have to ask them to fix it. The room was quiet enough for me even though it was facing the street. "
