"The location is great. The hotel lobby and bar area is nice and we enjoyed the view. The room has been upgraded but needs a really good clean. The carpets are heavily stained, curtains have stains on them, shower had mold in it that could easily be wiped off with a cloth and the windows are very old and covered in mold. "The hotel was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was nice and big. They have an essence spray as you walk into reception that weirdly just makes the whole place feel inviting. We stayed for two nights to go to a local club and we did a

"Stayed for 2 nights on the first floor when down for work. Spacious room, comfy bed, good size bath. Staff friendly. I was a little worried about noise given that downstairs is a pub/restaurant but it was fine as it closed at 11pm I think. Dinner menu a bit expensive so I decided to eat at local restaurants but the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Nice to get salmon and scrambled eggs for example rather than just usual full english options. I would stay here again."
