"Chose hotel as it was close to Harry Potter Studios. Was not expecting the elegance for the price. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful. Room was decent size and very comfy beds. We had evening meal and breakfast both of which were delicious. We had an early swim in the morning and pool to ourselves. Staff were extremely helpful and made you feel welcome. Will definitely keep this on the go to list when in area again. "

Free parking - Room & breakfast included for £73 - self service breakfast - ggod selection of hot & cold food & beverages - served in a large airy dining area. There is a good Harvester opposite the hotel. "

"Stayed two nights and from check in to checkout staff were friendly helpful and informative. Breakfast was fantastic and staff kept place clean. Ideal for shops places to eat and transport links..... Room clean ad beds comfortable. Room was cleaned towels changed for second day. Will definately return.. Not our first stay here "

"We stayed only one night very close to the airport for our flight the following morning. When we checked in it stated that the room was standard, I had booked a superior (this may not be the correct terminology) this was quickly corrected though the room we were given was quite clearly set for one person as there was only one robe, one pair of slippers, one bottle of water etc! The room however was more than acceptable!"

"For a motorway hotel it is good quality, always clean. I use this hotel several times each year as it is about halfway a long journey i do. What is impressive is the consistent high standard, I've never had a bad experience there. "

"Food here is excellent we both had steaks that were cooked perfectly. Room very clean will good amenities in a lovely location. The bath/shower does need a grab rail and/or bath mat as it gets slippery. Overall a very nice stay."

It would benefit from continuous housekeeping assessment & maintenance in the bedroom areas though - our room was a lovely very large, front facing one but the bathroom sink plug mechanism was broken & part of one of the curtains was hanging off the rail.
