"Situated very close to Hyde Park.We went to see Jeff Lynne's ELO final performance...which sadly never happened The room was clean and comfortable..all the staff friendly and welcoming.Breakfast was plentiful. There are plenty of decent pubs in the area ..The Mitre. ...Sawyer Arms..for beer and food and excellent family run Italian restaurant about 100 yds away Taormina. Would definitely stay here again "

A kettle in the room would be the only thing that I would have wanted - there is a coffee machine, but personally I would prefer a kettle to make tea rather than heating the water through the coffee machine."

"We had the most lovely stay at Royal Lancaster. A family of three, we had a great corner room that was very comfortable, both the main bed (especially) and even the twin- which usually these are not so comfortable. Everything was immaculate and the rooms were very convenient in closet and drawer/wardrobe space. Residential area which is nice and quiet , right across from Hyde Park. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, recommend to try it. It has many nice options, both healthy and indulgent. Doreen, the manager, is absolutely amazing. She is so warm and pleasant, and made our stay absolutely perfect. They gave us a nice welcome birthday amenity (mini cake) and fruit and had our room ready as quickly as possible. Everyone is lovely and the property is modern (bathroom is a bit smaller but nice) and clean, and overall just wonderful. The automatic day and night shades also helped for these long summer days. I would highly recommend it for all ages. It is not in the middle of the bustling areas which we liked. But, you can still walk to things (probably about 20-25 min to Marble Arch etc) and take a taxi. 5 stars! "
