"Unresponsive host. We tried to get check-in details the day before (Christmas Eve) but the host refused to answer despite us knowing he was getting our messages and calls. I had to get in touch with Stayz three times which was a nightmare as well because we got cut off a few times but they could not be bothered to call back so I had to call and start the chat all over again, they said things like the host normally gives instructions on the day itself, they've tried contacting the host themselves...

"I actually want to give 0 stars for this since we never got a chance to stay despite already paying! We booked this so-called luxury house for a wedding party in town but the host never gave check in details and never replied any messages even after check in time has passed. I had to book a different accommodation at the last minute and until now have not heard back about my refund. The VRBO customer service was trying to be helpful but they clearly have very poor policies that favor the host...
