"Expensive but it is Bath tbf. The modern block on the side of the original building is fine but bland. Could be any standard hotel room. Food also expensive but it’s a nice experience."

"We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. The pub is conveniently located a few minutes from the Bath park and ride. We'd...

"Nice location, good staff and fab food"

"Amazing stay stuff were really friendly. Big thank you to Shaun and Mario who were at the front desk."

"The hotel looks spectacular when you arrive. On check-in the staff were polite, seemed a little fed up everyday thereafter. The restaurant is something that should be avoided at all costs unless you like eating uninspiring, bland overpriced food (£60 for 2 people and I would have expected something that looked and tasted like some heart had gone into it). "Breakfast was very nice. A good location to stay."

"A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you."

"A beautiful place in a perfect location to explore Bath."

"Gorgeous room and bathroom. Round the corner from the royal crescent. Lovely gardens to have a cocktail in. Highly recommend."

"Great room and loved the vibe and atmosphere!"

"Good place"

"Really great location for exploring the city. Within easy walking distance. Comfortable beds - we both slept really well despite the bedroom facing the street, there was no disturbances. Friendly welcome and helpful suggestions. Tasty breakfast served in the room with a good choice of options and timings. Would recommend and would return if needed to."
