"Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities."

"The Fischers have provided a beautiful country manor and gardens for the use of guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were delicious."

"Excellent stay here. Room had comfy beds and large bathroom. Delicious breakfast every morning. We ate in their pub each evening and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Staff is very friendly. Laura is the best!"

"We stayed in a four poster bedroom in late October 26. The hotel is a fascinating place (in a good way). Steeped in history but extremely well maintained. The bedroom was superb, luxurious and super clean with a very comfortable bed. We had both evening meal and breakfast at the hotel. Both were exceptional and decent value too. The staff were all professional, polite and friendly. Only minor gripe is the parking. The hotel parking itself is small and tight. Plus you will need to be there...

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"Absolutely fantastic hotel - fabulous food. Exceptionally clean room, lovely bar, excellent food. Definitely will be returning."

"It was a lovely place to stay. We were travelers for the Chatsworth House and stayed here 1 night. Our room was excellent, and the food - for dinner and breakfast (both continental and english) was fantastic!"

"We had a great two night stay at The Beeley Inn. Very good breakfast, lots of choice and gluten free available. The room was spotless and very comfortable bed. Nice toiletries were provided and tea and coffee in the room. Overall a wonderful stay."

"Room clean.staff very friendly and a very good breakfast."

"Excellent food"

"Perfect in every way."

"Loved this place! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the service with a smile very welcoming. Will definitely return here."

"Wonderful 2 night stay for a walking weekend, exceptional customer service and superb food."

"Pet friendly stay for One night . Clean and comfortable. Didnt have dinner, breakfast very nice , lovely lady serving. Fresh milk delivered first thing in the morning a nice touch. Charge of £25 PER NIGHT for a pet I believe is excessive. £20 per stay seems the average these days . So I suppose £25 per stay would be acceptable for the quality of establishment. NOT £25 per night though !"

"Very friendly service but the room was cold and when we asked for heating it was only turned on for an hour so was cold again in the morning. Door to the bathroom didn’t shut properly and the handle was half unscrewed."

"Great location, close to everything. Staff wasn’t out of the way to assist us. Amazing lunch snacks for FREE! Probably would cost four or more pounds elsewhere. Could not have been more satisfying"

"The Manor House hotel is located in the centre of Dronfield, in itself a fascinating ex steel town. The hotel has a long history and has been well maintained. My room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well looked after. Breakfast was of a very good standard. Staff were attentive at all times. I was very pleased to stay at the Manor House hotel."
