"An overnight stop on the way to York from Devon. Nice room with very comfortable bed. Great pub garden which looked very well equipped for children. Across the road from Chatsworth grounds, where we had a lovely walk. Baslow is very picturesque and the Peak District is beautiful. Good hearty food and great breakfast. Lovely friendly staff. Really good value for money. Highly recommend this traditional pub which also serves excellent Marston’s beer. "
