"Was it really a 5-star hotel? Well, how about it was as good as it gets in Barstow. I liked the no-carpet rooms. Something in the building made an odd noise but it only happened once. Seriously no big. I'm assuming the hotel is family owned or management lived onsite which made me feel safe. The front desk person was attentive, and patient/polite to people who phoned while we waited. I would stay there again to support this hotel. A new Starbucks very close (opening soon? or now opened) and...

"The room cloud have been a little cleaner. The floor had something sticky on it at the end of the bed. A very large stain. Also when taking a shower the water wouldn’t get hot for a while. Had to take a shower with barely warm water."
