"Very modern looking and feel inside. Its close to everything downtown including bars, restaurants and coffee shops. (Don’t expect any beautiful views out the windows though, its surrounded by other buildings)"
"Clean inside, very quiet, and easy access to the apartment. Our overall stay was good near shopping centers and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if i come back to San Juan "

"This hotel ticked all of the boxes for what I look for on vacation. Space large apartment like room with kitchen spacious bathroom sitting area etc. Location easy walk to everything in the area including beach. Dining great breakfast spot a block away and a great tapas wine bar as well. Air conditioning super important and super frosty the unit was noisy which might bother some people but for us it was fine. There was a nice outdoor space with table but it was full of water the whole time we were there. We never mentioned it as we were not going to use it so staff might have a solution? There could be some upgrades etc but all in all it was perfect for our trip. "
"Very nice and serene. It’s definitely a destination getaway with your loved ones. My husband and I enjoyed the clear beaches, respectable staff, and just all around had peace of mind. "
"We loved every minute of our stay at El Colonial. Because we booked through Expedia (we think?), we had access to the unlimited open bar in reception, but the main perk of that was the bartenders! Friendly, knowledgeable, interesting -- talking to the bartenders and hearing about PR was literally the highlight of our trip.
Also, wonderfully, the way the light hit our particular room meant that, in the mornings, there was a camera obscura projection of the street outside onto our roof!
100/10 (because of the staff!)"
"Very unique architecture. Everything was beautiful. We loved the aesthetics. Very quiet on the balcony or the rooftop. Food was beyond excellent. Very delicious meals on the rooftop by the chef. Also the bartender made amazing food and cocktails. We couldn't have had a better time."
