"Deluxe Cabin war super, alles notwendige vorhanden, 2 Min. Zum Strand und der Nationalpark super. Zu empfehlen 😃"

"Clean and spacious room, staff were great and very helpful. The facility in general is very good although showing signs of aging. In saying that, there are various renovation works in progress to spruce the place back up. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return again."

"Could provide containers suitable to cook in the microwave."

"Huge room located across the road in the secondary building! Lovely and clean and staff all wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"I spent $180 on food, fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts etc....all frozen in fridge. Breakfast included was non existent. 1 small milk for 3 days, no refill on toilet paper, coffee etc. I did a 3 day sporting Australian Event and had to throw all my food and all drinks were frozen solid. Avoid. Spend the $, it will save you in the end"

"Walking distance to inner city and major shopping centre. Good off-street securing parking provided which also suited taller vehicles. Room was clean and tidy with good views. Reception staff friendly and helpful with any of my questions."

"Proximity to beach and pub"

"This is an older style motel but the rooms are clean, roomy and the bed is comfortable with crisp, white sheets and pillows. Nothing fancy with this motel but everything works and for an overnight stay with a small dog, it is ideal. The only unusual element is that the office is not open for check-in. You call a phone number and a woman talks you through where to find the key and your room number. We didn't need to talk directly to staff so no problem for us."

"room was clean but the rest of the place needs work.. over looking the fact that they had put a single bed sheet sideways across a queen size bed on a mattress protecter that had blood on it and when we asked the staff if they could fix it they dropped off a queen size just in side the door so we could do it ourselves."

"Great location and comfortable rooms"

"Daily WiFi allowance way too small ☹️"

"Nothing to complain!"

"First time there … was excellent location and great service :)"

"A nice room to stay in for work"

"Advertising pool on site. There is no pool on site."

"The housekeepers were great and super kind. The FOH staff were NOT. Room was OK- No Smart TV as I have had in previous occasions and 2 cockroaches in the room (I guess its the season for it)."

"certainly, would recommend staying here as the location was very central to all the Mackay CBD easy walking to the local pubs for Counter meals or even for the adventurous a short and safe walk into the CBD to the local specialty restaurants or for the eat on the run addicts Dominos , MacDonalds and the local "Best Fish Shop " in Mackay, Vellas are all with in a 2 block radius"

"I'm amazed at the ratings people have given this motel. The room was down a brick corridor and smelt mouldy. I'm glad I was only staying overnight. I'm not sure it was that reasonably priced but it was close to town."
