"AKA Back Bay is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The housekeeping lady on our floor (9th) was absolutely delightful—so warm and kind. The maintenance gentleman who helped with our in-room espresso machine was also exceptionally friendly and helpful.
My three-star staff rating reflects our experience with the front desk, where the welcome was noticeably less friendly. In particular, the young woman who handled our checkout was quite rude, which was disappointing given the lovely service elsewhere.
We would still happily recommend the hotel, but a warmer, more courteous front desk experience would have made our stay even better. The young woman at the front desk may benefit from some customer service training."
