"The house offered all you need for a stay in walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, to the small city and bars, but also the short driving distance to many locations in the area."

The house was dirty, poorly equipped, and had multiple issues: a filthy pool, leaking faucet, unusable washing machine, ant-infested mattresses and dirty, and low water pressure, toilet was blocked for all the week. "First, Costa da Caparica is a paradise. This house was so perfect for the 6 of us (it sleeps 8, but I would not do more than 6). We had space and managed the 1 bathroom for all of us perfectly. The location is on a non-car street so it made the privacy so lovely. We could walk to the beach in 6 ish minutes and to so many amazing restaurants in less than 5 minutes. "We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...
