"Capsis Astoria is very conveniently located. It’s on the bus route to and from the airport so getting there is 1.20€. It’s also next door to the Heraklion archeological museum and on the bus route to Knossos. There are multiple restaurants nearby ranging from casual cafes to fine dining. We highly recommend Pemptos Ntore restaurant just across the way on the fifth floor. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, letting us check in when we arrived at 11 am. The breakfast is substantial. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and having a drink. They have a small version of a Greek windmill on the roof. Very Instagram friendly. We recommend it highly."

"The place is beautiful! Very quiet and adult friendly. We had a few issues with our heated pool and they were remedied immediately. The food choices were outstanding and delicious. Customer service was excellent."
